Got told from a bloke you really does know its 50 mil minimum
It's the wages that are causing headaches due to FFP

Is it worth debating this? If the board come out and say they'll spend £75m or £50m the prices and wage demands will go up. Then the board will get flack. They have said there is a decent budget and that is all that matters.
I think we can all be comfortable that big name managers expect to have a decent budget to compete.

I mentioned this on a thread yesterday.
25m to spend would be enough if we got the likes of Konoplyanka, Milner, Schaar, Ayew, Gingac on frees.
I am sure we will get rid of a few as well to top it up.
I wouldnt worry about it, i am sure if the new manager wants a player in our range the Daves will support him.

Milner? Why would he come to us? Why would he leave a team in the top 2 playing in the Champs League to come to us? The delusion continues.....

I just plucked out a handful of decent frees, i didnt say he was coming.
he has said he wants a different challenge anyway. Probably end up at Liverpool.

Perhaps because he wants regular first team action - after all, that is why he is leaving City.

As I understand it Milner is leaning to Arsenal but has Liverpool keen and Man City still want to give him another big contract. Nice choice to have

Maybe, although you have not taken into account the impact of wages on our FFP limit which is totally different to transfer fees.
